what is the point of hsmtmts season 2 including another “ricky/nini not working out” storyline and “gina possibly moving away” storyline if it doesn’t culminate in a nini/gina duet of gotta go my own way from hsm2 featuring ricky on the bridge???? WHAT IS THE POINT????
so ricky was 100% aware of gina’s feelings this ENTIRE season and was still saying shit like “if WE were dating” and admitting she is his confidante,,,, im gna eat glass
god olivia is so fucking talented. the rose song is a gorgeous song and is brilliantly written in regards to nini and her pov of her relationship with ricky. it’s so raw and emotional and really shows how nini is feeling about her relationship beneath all the “everything is perfect and we’re completely in love with each other there are no problems with our relationship no toxicity here” bullshit. as much as rini do genuinely care for each other we as the audience see time and time again that they don’t work as a couple and only bring out the worst in each other. and it seems like we may be finally getting nini getting a bit of a reality check and seeing that while ricky does have feelings for her and loves her that he is more in love with the idea of her and their relationship than with nini herself!!! he is clinging to the past to avoid change and she is finally going to realize this!!!
